Our story
High-Quality and Organic Products La Grangette is a farm located in Puidoux with a second site in Ferlens. We have been practicing organic farming since 1993. Our operations include: Two laying hen houses (2 x 2,000 hens) A hen house for raising pullets and roosters (4,000 birds) A herd of Montbéliarde cows A herd of Salers cows Crops of bread wheat and chickpeas Meadows to promote biodiversity Agroforestry A few pigs Several self-service stores selling local products and a dairy. Laurent Chaubert is the farm manager. His professional career began with training as a retail manager; he then pursued a career in agriculture, eventually earning his Master Farmer degree. He is happy to be able to contribute his ideas and projects to the family farm. Four employees assist him on the farm with animal care, egg collection and delivery, field work, and administrative tasks. His wife, Ariane Chaubert, also works part-time on the farm. Our goal is to make locally sourced organic products affordable for consumers while ensuring quality, animal welfare, and respect for biodiversity.
